Freight and Shipping

All of our containers are shipped F.O.B. origin. We negatiate shipping contracts on an annual basis, effective May 1 each year. You can view a complete schedule of shipping rate to various destinations in the U.S.

Most of our customers do not insure their containers, however, insurance is available for approximatley $100 per container.

Transit time from Indonesia to the West Coast is approximately 24 days, approximately 5-7 days should be added to this time for containers traveling to other U.S. destinations. Transit time from India to the West Coast is 44 days, and from China to the West Coast is 23 days.

This year's shipping contract was negotiated with Evergreen American. Occasionally customers prefer to use other carriers. Most of our customers take advantage of the favorable rates and service that we provide through Evergreen American.
