Terms and Conditions of Sale

TERMS AND PRICES:

All prices are F.O.B Los Angeles from R D Imports, Inc. warehouse. All initial orders are payable in full prior to shipment. All prices are subject to change without notice. We will honor pricing on any invoice that is in the system. Stock items are immediately available with a shipping time of 1-4 weeks. The delivery time on backordered items can be up to 12 weeks. Please note the specified lead time for items ordered: if items are not received into our warehouse within this time period, R D Imports, Inc. will refund deposits at the customer's request. If an order is cancelled in time to prevent shipping from our overseas factories, we will refund all deposits. If cancellations are not received in time to prevent shipment from our overseas factories, we will issue a refund less a 15% restocking fee. All orders for stocked items must be picked up within 14 days. R D Imports, Inc. will cancel and restock any orders not picked up within this time. C.O.D or prepaid. Title to merchandise passes to customer when the carrier accepts delivery from R D Imports, Inc. Customer is required to make timely payment, regardless of whether or not a claim is pending with the freight carrier. Customer may not withhold payment to R D Imports, Inc. while awaiting settlement of their claim with 3rd parties.

FREIGHT:

R D Imports, Inc. recommends shipment via “Blanket Wrap” carriers. We will arrange shipment of commercial orders via bestway unless otherwise indicated on customers purchase order, or instructed in writing. We will provide freight quote for your approval prior to shipment. We do not arrange “home deliveries” nor “residential deliveries” or, any customer service for this kind of transaction. You may also arrange your own shipment. Please note that R D Imports, Inc. is not responsible for freight damages resulting from shipment within the United States. All goods are sold F.O.B our warehouse in Gardena. All items are inspected by R D Imports, Inc. and the shipping agents before the items are shipped. Merchandise should be inspected as soon as it is received and all damages claims noted on the Bill of Lading before signing and reported directly to the shipping company.

WARRANTY:

R D Imports, Inc. guarantees its product to be free from defects of workmanship. Due to environmental elements and relative humidity, wood will sometimes expand and shrink. We take great care to construct our furniture in a manner that allows the wood to shrink and expand. Under drastic temperature changes, cracks may sometimes appear; however, this is a very rare occurrence. Damage claims of this nature will be assessed on an individual basis if they are received within three months. We do not accept returns without written authorization from our office. Due to the nature of handcarved products, dimensions, details and/or colors represented in our catalogs may vary. Th antique/one of a kind product may vary significantly. Establishment of an account with R D Imports, Inc. constitutes agreement and acknowledgement of the terms and conditions of sale.
